AMS Wealth Inc. (“AMS Wealth”) makes the privacy of personal information a key priority. AMS Wealth will endeavor to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in dealing with client information and adhere to the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”), a federal privacy law.
Any and all identity, health, corporate and financial information is collected and kept solely for the purpose of providing advice and to ensure that any products or services you purchase through AMS Wealth are provided quickly and correctly. In order to obtain products, AMS Wealth is required to confidentially convey information to insurers through wholesale organizations. The collection and retention of information is solely for the purposes of formulating advice and service the products purchased through AMS Wealth.
When sharing personal information, we offer our clients and partners the use of SideDrawer (an encrypted data sharing service) to enhance our security measures and protect sensitive client data and documents. This is just another value-add AMS Wealth clients can expect from their trusted estate and insurance planning partner.
The nature of our work means AMS Wealth must receive and retain personal information about our clients including health data, financial data and identity verification. This information is used to make judgments about the estate planning opportunity and to identify possible solutions to our clients. We rely on receiving accurate information in order to make appropriate recommendations. There will regularly be an effort to update our client information to ensure appropriate recommendations and guidance is provided to our clients.
All the information received is in password protected computer files.
